STORYTIME: WHY I STARTED BLOGGING AND WILL I WRITE A BOOK?

Hello there guys. Welcome back to story time Fridays once again. I know some people are about to come at me asking for a video but just know I’m sorry. (I’m actually writing this out while in transit ).Also for the last STORYTIME post I got feedback that some of you weren’t able to listen 😬, I’m sorry (Still trying to figure out what the problem was/is )

Anyway,

For today I will be sharing the truth about blogging ….especially as a beginner 😂😂😂

So why do I blog?

I don’t know if there’s actually an answer to this bit let me try. I am this type of person who’s a really great listener and that I guess in turn somehow limits how much I can share with people especially whilst making conversations. Though I’d honestly really rather listen most times.

However I came to realize that sometimes I may be quite knowledgeable on certain matters and if I shared, well… a few or many can be helped.

Other than that , I’m a person who harbours tons of thoughts and no better way to express this than by writing .

I read a lot too and sometimes as a reader you feel like you too can be the author .

In a nutshell I guess that’s why I blog.

I’m fact I actually started last year but was really shy to share my posts , I guess I felt inadequate plus I was rather inconsistent but this year we’re daring more! (Did I say we ? I . I am daring more )

Are there any challenges?

Challenges are there guys. It’s real !!

Sometimes you’re like I got nothing for Tuesday or what will I share about on Friday. Content isn’t an ever flowing fountain, the wells run dry my friends, dry!

Then this pushes you to start thinking of relaxing and let a week pass by. The readers will understand that life happened and all… but then that means inconsistency! And that is the enemy!

I equate inconsistency to quitting and I’m really no quitter.

For how long will I do this ?

For as long as I am able to think and live because I can really only draw much inspiration from my life.

That is ,

From friends

From nature

From my experiences at different situations in life and places ..

So I do plan to keep on writing and writing more .. and of course with occasional audios and videos

Will there be any different content?

Actually guys I want to be more creative and play around with themes.

Like do a recipe today

A look book the other day

Just really be versatile. This means there will be more categories on my blog and we may do away with doing strictly self care and story time…

What do you think about this..?

I’m not saying I’m doing away with those segments for good, just adding variety ..

How much does one make ?

Or rather how do you earn from blogging?

Would you consider writing a book?

Heck yes!!

In fact I had started writing a draft back when I was in primary 😂😂

And it was a romantic one . Imagine !I thought I knew about love guys ..

And while we’re talking about this let me let you all in a lil secret

That’s my little big project for this year.

I’m drafting a book. More of a poetry book.

It won’t be a novel(this perhaps sometime in the near future)

So hopefully I will complete it this year and publish next year …
