Of late I have been on this finding myself vibe. I have felt that I am in a “I’m out with lanterns looking for myself” situation; a quote by Emily Dickinson. I believe that this happens to everyone at some point and the reasons differ amongst individuals.

One possible reason could be a situation where you realize that you have been saying yes to things that you really wanted to say no to but couldn’t for one reason or another. It seemed for a moment that you had no voice and now you’re looking for your voice . It could be distractions that have made it impossible to achieve goals you set out for yourself , reasonable ones for that matter . And you’ve been really off your game and now you need to get your head back in it.

However there is hope. And that is why :

I’m in love with the fact that it’s always in us to realize that things are off with how we are. We can actually be like “No this is unlike me !”

I’m in love with the fact that even when we may pretend to be oblivious when things are amiss there are always those people who know us well enough to point it out to us and remind us who we are . (Of course they do this in love , or rather should do so in love ).

I’m in love with the fact that the self discovery journey can sometimes being rise to changes and readjustments. In that after you find out what made you lose yourself and discover how toxic you were , you actually set the bar higher on just how much toxicity for example you can put up with. ( It should be zero though, but you get it ?)

I’m in love with the fact that no matter how long it takes , it’s never ever a waste of time. The person you find is worth all your time . You find YOU. YOU matter !

I’m in love with the fact that I’m in love with is such a bomb title to use as clickbait 😜.
